The Role & Team:
The Telecom Data analyst will be responsible to for analysing, validating and implementing key performance indexes for wireless and wireline network monitoring applications. The Analyst will drive the end-to-end definition of the data feeds within distributed monitoring systems while performing data validation tests to ensure the integrity and consistency of the data provided by Infovista products.
The successful candidate will analyse and resolve customer issues related to metrics and data feeds by working with R&D teams in developing and implementation of entire solution packages offer (data processing, ETL , reports , dashboard) based on PM and customer requirements.
The Telecom Data Analyst will be familiar with networking technologies, Mobile protocols for LTE, UMTS and GSM, Data and VoIP/VoLTE protocols applications
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement reports and define metrics according to PM and customer requirements.
- Data validation of metrics and reports for the integrity and consistency of the end-to-end results.
- Design, develop and integration of data adapters, analytic metrics/ KPIs and aggregators to consume telecom data and provide business insights and reports.
- Analyze customer issues affecting metrics and data feeds and follow up on the resolution path.
- Interact with intra-organizational contacts and customers.
- Analyze the product requirements and produce Functional specifications.
- Review technical documentation and provide feedback.
- Identify technical implementation issues and provide feedback to development teams and Product managers.
- Own K8s cluster and complete responsibility of managing installs and upgrades to facilitate development across multiple teams.
- Work with remote developers, Professional Service Engineers, Quality
- Assurance teams and field/sales engineers.
Profile
Experience
- 5 years on wireline and wireless networking technologies
- 5 years on data analytics, KPI and metrics developments.
- Strong Linux knowledge.
- Proven Bash Scripting and python programming.
Skills:
- Knowledge of wireless and wireline technologies and network protocols.
- Proactive and results-oriented with an ability to solve complex problems and adapt quickly.
- Strong attitude in team working.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
- Programming languages: Bash, XML, SQL, Python
- Knowledge of relational database systems
- Fluent English
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working w/ Clickhouse
- REST APIs development knowledge.
- Previous experience working w/ cloud native technologies, including usage of k8s
- Knowledge of Linux OS environment. Experience with Ubuntu, CentOS or SuSE.
- Background on AI/ML / GenAI
